Cybersecurity Policy
Tower Semiconductor is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its physical and electronic information assets, including information entrusted to us by customers, partners, employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Our Information Security Management System, as defined in the company’s ISMS1 policy, establishes the governance, responsibilities, processes, controls, and continual improvement activities required to manage information security risks across the organization. Information security is essential to maintaining business continuity, operational resilience, customer trust, competitive advantage, profitability, and brand recognition.
Tower Semiconductor monitors compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and business requirements, as well as internal information security objectives, in order to validate the ongoing suitability, effectiveness, and continual improvement of the Information Security Management System.
Tower Semiconductor maintains recognized cybersecurity certifications, including ISO/IEC 27001 and CMMC Level 2, in accordance with the applicable certification and assessment scope.
To support this commitment, Tower Semiconductor aims to:
1. Manage information security risks through a structured risk management process addressing:
- Confidentiality: ensuring that information is classified, protected, and accessible only to authorized individuals.
- Integrity: ensuring that information is accurate, complete, and modified only through approved and authorized procedures.
- Availability: ensuring that information and systems are accessible when needed to support business operations.
2. Promote accountability and awareness by emphasizing individual responsibility for information security through training, procedures, processes, and technical and organizational controls.
3. Protect information assets and systems by implementing appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, loss, disruption, or misuse.
4. Support compliance obligations by maintaining controls aligned with applicable laws, regulations, customer commitments, contractual requirements, and recognized information security standards.
5. Drive continual improvement of the Information Security Management System through periodic review, performance monitoring, audits, corrective actions, and the definition and achievement of annual information security objectives.
