TowerJazz’s leading Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) process is used in complex power management chips including driver ICs, battery and portable power management, power control for PCs, Class-D audio amplifiers, and other consumer, communications and computing applications.
This webinar highlights the merits of the TS18PM BCD platform through a “discussion” between the platform developer (Sharon) and platform user (Danny) while focusing on the way the design service functions.
They will describe new features that enable integration of traditionally discrete board components into a single chip solution, and will also show how our scalable voltage concept, together with different process flavors and low Rdson transistors, enables higher performance at a smaller die size resulting in cost reduction.

Mr. Sharon Levin
Device Director for BCD Process & Senior Principal Engineer
Sharon received his B.Sc in Electrical Engineering in 1997 from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
In 1997 he joined Tower Semiconductor where he worked on the device development of several mixed signal generations. From 2004 to 2006 he was involved in the development of RFIC & RFID platforms and from 2006 to 2011, he led the development of BCD processes for the power management markets. From 2011 to the present, he has been managing the device group that is developing the BCD process and moving it into production.
Mr. Danny Pollak
Analog Design Team Leader
Danny received his B.Sc in Electrical Engineering in 1995 and his M.Sc in Electrical Engineering in 2005 from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
From 1995 to 2002 he worked as a technical officer in the IDF where he specialized in analog, power and RF system design. From 2002 to 2005 he worked as RF team leader at RFWaves which focused on short range communication in the ISM band. In his role, Danny was in charge of unique RFIC development, from chip specification to verified application. RFWaves was later acquired by Vishay.
In 2005 he started working for Vishay-Siliconix as a power design expert.
In 2008 Danny joined TowerJazz as Analog Design Team Leader where he was incharge of various power designs. Amongst his projects where LDOs, switching power converters, bandgaps, motor-drivers, and high-voltage (700V) drivers.
